I work in mixed media ,mainly acrylics and graphite. I take my inspiration from old photographs , which are damaged and fading.

Growing up near Bolton, Lancashire, my local landscape was dominated by Cooling Towers and they often feature in my work. Traditions like Walking Day, which was mainly confined to Lancashire is a theme I often return to.

Now living in Beverley I’m able to revisit the seaside towns where I holidayed as a child.

I like to include found treasures from the beach, as well as kitsch ornaments from the fifties and sixties in my still life work.

I have been a member of Beverley Art Club for over three years
