Originally from Leeds, I retired to the beautiful East Coast after some time spent on the canals in the Midlands. At this time, my love for art was rekindled some fifty years after leaving school with the discovery of oil paint and it’s vibrancy.
I have a love of vintage, animals and colour which I attempt to blend together in my artwork in the hope that evokes happy memories in others –
Who doesn’t have a budgie story to tell? Or experienced the joy of riding the carousel with all the lights, smells and sounds of the Fair?.
