November was a busy month preparing our entry for this years Beverley Minster Christmas Tree Festival. Our club has been entering this event for several years but this year we were joined by the other residents of Oldroyd’s Corner to celebrate our growing Community .
Along with our members at the Art Club, the Voluntary Gardeners and The Men in Sheds collaborated on a garden themed tree.We produced mini canvases , dried flower arrangements and some wooden ornaments. We managed to decorate the tree in record time as we had a team this year to help decorate it and we we were very pleased with the result .
We will be joining together on the 19th December for a Buffet to get us into the Festive spirit . The club will be closing after this event and will reopen on the 14th January.
