On the 15th December the artist Robert Cheesmond will be holding a workshop for club members.
Robert is a member of the East Riding Artists and his bio and examples of his work can be found on their website. He also has a Face Book page Art on the slate.
The session will include a cost for resources so it is vital that we have the number of members who would like to participate by the 17th November to enable Robert to plan the session, and ensure the club is only paying for the resources we actually need.
Fifteen members have already put their names forward during the session on the 10th November . A number of members were not present and we would ask that you email Terry if you would like a place on the work shop.
The work created on the day, which will be on reclaimed slate will be yours to take home.
The list of resources that he will be bringing includes slate, acrylic paint, collage materials, sea shells, pebbles, driftwood, glue and modelling clay.
The process will be messy and so please dress accordingly and bring an apron.
For those not wishing to join in you can still attend as usual , but will need to seat yourselves away from the work shop area.
This session will be the last session before the Christmas Break. The club will reconvene on Friday 12th January 2024.
